Perfect timing: Everyday big data

Increasingly I have seen interesting Big Data use cases applied to improve the cities. Recently Deutsche Welle published a video about the use of Big Data to optimize bus schedules. They ask: Improved customer service and resource optimization for companies - along with increased control over workers? The debate on Big Data is ongoing, and there are no easy answers. The Aachen public transit authority is already using vast amounts of data to optimize their bus schedules.
