Dashboard Insight published an interesting article called Intuitive Corporate Performance Dashboards For Non-Technical Business Users, by Bob Abernethy, where he talks that create performance management dashboards and reports need to be simple.
He also talks BI solutions need to be designed for non-technical business users with varying levels of skills, and as the look-and-feel of a BI solution is important.
Some of those concepts are defined as BI 2.0, a BI more interactive, collaborative and easy to use.
