A couple of days ago, Lyndsay Wise published an article in Dashboard Insight, called Bridging the Cohesion Gap - Business Units and IT in BI Projects, where she talks about the changes in the nature of business intelligence in the organizations, the reasons for the Gap Between Business and IT, and what she thinks important to bridging the Gap.
She considers that the general goals are to expand BI’s use within the organization, increase the role of business units in the management of these solutions, and create environments conducive to operational BI.
