I read an excellent article in BI Review last week, about strategies to implement BI, entitled A Sociable BI Strategy in Nine Steps, by Shailesh Kosambia. He defines nine steps to implement what he called sociable BI.
I agree with him, to implement a successful BI is necessary an effective BI strategy, because mainly BI is not just another IT project, is a continuous process to delivery better information to the company make better decisions and the companies need to define a good strategy to not fail in its objectives.
